About Padrombu Seed Secondary School
Padrombu Seed Secondary School is a secondary school located in Lobule sub-County, Koboko District.
Our Foundation
Padrombu Seed Secondary School began in 2014 with just 14 students, including 4 girls and 10 boys. The school was established through the efforts of the Padrombu community, particularly the youth, with land provided by the Church of Uganda.
Over the years, the school has grown steadily in both enrolment and infrastructure. In 2017, support from UNHCR led to the construction of classroom blocks and offices as the school served learners from the local community as well as refugee students from South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Further development followed through the Government of Uganda Seed Schools programme, which supported facilities such as laboratories, an ICT/library block, a multipurpose hall, staff housing, and improved sanitation facilities. By 2021, additional government staff had been posted to the school and enrolment had grown significantly.
Today, Padrombu Seed Secondary School continues to expand its role in the community by providing affordable quality education, practical skills, and opportunities for both local and refugee learners, guided by its motto: “Think Positively.”
